Three services: Open Evaluation, a 90-minute evaluation that produces a 4D Scorecard and, for qualifying scores, a Certyco Mark; Mentor Match, one-on-one mentoring sessions with an expert who does the job today; and Evaluation on Demand, for employers who send us the people they are considering for a role. Certyco is operated by Softassure Technologies Ltd.
Certyco serves three groups: Professionals, who book an Open Evaluation or request a mentor through Mentor Match; independent Industry Experts, who evaluate and mentor; and Hiring Partners, who search verified profiles or send us the people they are considering through Evaluation on Demand.
Job boards match resumes to roles. Online assessments rely on standardized tests or automated scoring. Certyco is different: Professionals are evaluated through structured, expert-led evaluations across all four dimensions. The result is a verified evaluation based on expert judgment, not self-reported claims or automated tests.
No. Certyco is not a job board, recruiter, or staffing agency. It does not post jobs, submit applications, or represent anyone. Certyco is a professional capability verification platform. Professionals are independently evaluated, and Hiring Partners access verified profiles. Evaluation on Demand changes none of this: employers send the people they already have, Certyco evaluates them, and the hiring decision stays with the employer.
Certyco currently operates in Canada, the United States, and India.
As a Professional you can create an account, build your profile with AI Resume Import, purchase an evaluation credit, sit a 90-minute Open Evaluation with an Industry Expert and receive your 4D Scorecard and Certyco Mark. You can also request a mentor through Mentor Match without an account. Hiring Partners can search verified profiles and connect with professionals, or send the people they are considering for a role to Certyco through Evaluation on Demand.
You can sign up using email and password, or sign in with Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft. Industry Experts and Hiring Partners are also required to verify a corporate email address after account creation.
AI Resume Import is available to Professionals and Industry Experts. It lets you upload a PDF or DOCX resume to pre-populate profile sections. Your resume file is read in your browser using client-side libraries and the file itself is never uploaded. The extracted text is sent securely to Certyco's servers, where it is processed by an AI service to parse your profile sections. No resume files or extracted text are retained after processing. You review and approve each parsed section before anything is saved to your profile. If you prefer not to use AI Resume Import, you can fill in your profile sections manually through the guided profile setup.
After completing your profile, you can purchase an evaluation credit and schedule your Open Evaluation. If you would rather start with guidance, request a mentor through Mentor Match. Profile completion tracking shows you which sections still need attention, and you can keep refining your profile at any time.
It means the Professional was evaluated by an independent Industry Expert using Certyco's structured evaluation framework. Certyco is the platform where the evaluation takes place, but the evaluator is an independent expert, not Certyco itself. This distinction ensures independence and credibility.

Professionals complete a 90-minute evaluation with an Industry Expert, one on one and recorded with consent, covering four dimensions: Technical Skills, Domain Expertise, Platform Expertise, and Behavioral Skills. The expert then writes your personalized assessment. The result is a 4D Scorecard with written feedback, and for qualifying scores, a Certyco Mark.
The evaluation is 90 minutes, one on one with your Industry Expert. After the session, the expert writes your personalized assessment, including ratings across all four dimensions and detailed feedback on your strengths and development areas.
One payment per evaluation, priced by region: ₹2,999 INR, $125 USD, $149 CAD at the introductory price, against a list price of ₹5,999 INR, $249 USD, $299 CAD. Introductory price for the first 100 evaluations. Your credit never expires, so you can book whenever you are ready.
Your Industry Expert writes up the assessment after the session, and your 4D Scorecard, written feedback and recording land in your account within 3 business days.
Yes. With your consent given at scheduling, the full session is recorded and the recording is yours to revisit from your account. It is shared with a Hiring Partner only if you give separate, explicit consent.
The 4D Scorecard is Certyco’s evaluation output. It contains individual ratings across four dimensions: Technical Skills, Domain Expertise, Platform Expertise, and Behavioral Skills, along with written expert feedback highlighting your strengths and specific development areas. Whether or not you earn a Mark, the Scorecard gives you a clear picture of where you stand and where to grow. The Scorecard is also visible to Hiring Partners alongside your overall evaluation score.
The overall evaluation score determines the Certyco Mark. Mark III is awarded for scores of 4.5 and above, Mark II for 4.0 and above, and Mark I for 3.5 and above. Scores below 3.5 complete the evaluation and display the overall score, but no Mark is awarded. Individual dimension scores remain visible to Hiring Partners regardless of Mark outcome.
No. Certyco is not pass/fail. Every completed evaluation produces a 4D Scorecard showing exactly where you stand. Scores of 3.5 and above earn a Certyco Mark (I, II, or III). Scores below 3.5 still display your results. You simply do not receive a Mark. Retakes are available if you want to improve your outcome.
The Mark is valid for 12 months. To continue appearing as verified, Professionals must complete a new evaluation after expiry. Profiles remain accessible, but verification status expires if not renewed.
Yes. Retakes are available at least 3 weeks after your last evaluation, at a discounted fee. Retakes are optional and initiated by the Professional; they are not automatic or required.
Yes. Evaluations are recorded only with the Professional’s consent, given at scheduling. Recordings are shared with Hiring Partners only with additional, explicit consent.
Yes. Certyco administrators may silently monitor live evaluations for quality control, fairness, and platform integrity. Monitoring is passive and does not interfere with the evaluation.
Yes. Professionals confirm availability every 2 weeks. If not confirmed, your profile is marked unavailable to Hiring Partners.
Every completed evaluation produces five outcomes: honest feedback from an Industry Expert who has walked your path, scored development areas across four dimensions, a written assessment signed by your evaluator, interview confidence backed by verified standing, and Hiring Partner visibility while your "Available for work" switch is on.
Certyco’s Industry Expert community currently spans Canada, the United States and India, with a small number of senior practitioners also based in the United Kingdom and in Portugal. Certyco matches you to an Industry Expert by role, domain, platform and availability, and you see the expert’s country when your evaluation is confirmed.
If you have consented to recording as part of the scheduling flow, and your Industry Expert is located in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the recording is stored in our European Union data centre in Germany. The 4D Scorecard you receive after the evaluation is identical in format and content regardless of where the Industry Expert is located. The storage location only affects where the underlying audio and video file is held.

Yes. Evaluations are tied to a specific role but include verified scores across all four dimensions. Hiring Partners may search by role or by specific verified skills, so your evaluation can surface you for multiple opportunities where your capabilities are relevant.
Yes. You may pursue evaluations for multiple roles. When you complete an evaluation for a new role, previously verified skills may carry forward, and you are evaluated only on additional or role-specific areas. Each role evaluation builds on your existing profile.
A verified Industry Expert with relevant experience in your domain, twelve to twenty years into the field and still working in it. Every evaluator is selected for professional credibility and alignment with the role you are being assessed for.
Your evaluation is 90 minutes of dedicated Industry Expert time, one on one, followed by the time the expert spends writing your personalized assessment. You receive detailed ratings across all four dimensions (Technical Skills, Domain Expertise, Platform Expertise, and Behavioral Skills), written expert feedback on your strengths and development areas, a Certyco Mark (for scores 3.5 and above), and a shareable evaluation summary that Hiring Partners can review.
In anonymized form, yes. Once your result is approved and while "Available for work" is on (it is on from the day your account is created), your anonymized scorecard can appear in Hiring Partner search. Hiring Partners can see your scores and expert feedback, never your name, photo or contact details. Turn the toggle off on your dashboard at any time and you leave Hiring Partner search immediately.
Yes. While "Available for work" is on, your identity remains hidden. Hiring Partners can see your anonymized evaluation scores, expert feedback, and Certyco Mark, but they cannot see your name, photo, email, phone number, or any other personal details. Your identity is revealed only when a Hiring Partner unlocks your profile, and they can only reach out to you if you are marked available. Turn "Available for work" off and you leave search, so no new Hiring Partner can find or unlock you.
Keep "Available for work" switched on. With a Certyco Mark (3.5 or above), your anonymized 4D Scorecard appears in every Hiring Partner search; below the Mark it can appear only to Hiring Partners who choose to see results without a Mark. Hiring Partners can review your evaluation scores and expert feedback before engaging. The Mark gives them confidence in your capabilities before a single conversation takes place. Your name and contact details are revealed only when a Hiring Partner unlocks your profile.
Certyco evaluations are designed for Professionals with practical, role-relevant experience. The evaluation assesses real capability through structured expert judgment. Your readiness is determined during the evaluation itself.
Hiring Partners can reach out only after unlocking your profile and only if you are marked available. Certyco does not share your contact details without this step.
The Mark is valid for 12 months. After expiry, you must complete a new evaluation to continue appearing as verified. This ensures that your verified status reflects current capabilities, not outdated assessments.
Yes. The best time to get evaluated is when you are not under pressure to find a job. You get honest feedback on where you stand, identify development areas while you have time to work on them, and build a verified record that is ready when the right opportunity appears. You control your availability and decide when your profile is visible to Hiring Partners.
When you do not need it. Evaluating while you are working means you have current examples, no pressure shaping your answers, and months of runway to act on what you learn. The Certyco Mark is valid for 12 months. Getting evaluated now means you are ready when the right opportunity appears.
Your credit is yours to keep and never expires. A full refund applies in three cases: if Certyco is unable to find and assign a matching Industry Expert within 3 business days of your evaluation request, if a platform error on Certyco's side prevents your evaluation from being completed, or if an Industry Expert acts inappropriately during your evaluation. No. Evaluation credits never expire and can be redeemed at any time. Credits are tied to the purchasing account and are non-transferable.
One-on-one time with an Industry Expert who does the job you are moving toward, today. It starts with two one-hour sessions on Zoom, built around your resume, your goal and your questions. It suits people changing roles, going deeper on a platform, moving into a new industry, preparing for an evaluation, or closing the gaps an evaluation showed.

Mentor Match guides you: there is no score, no Mark, nothing added to your profile and nothing shared with employers. It is time with an expert rather than a course, and it gives you clarity, a direction and a next step rather than a job placement.
Yes, with your consent given when the first session is booked, so you can revisit them. Recordings are private: only you, your mentor and Certyco can see them. They are never shared with Hiring Partners and have no effect on any evaluation.
If we cannot match you, there is nothing to pay. You can reschedule a session with 24 hours notice by email, and if your mentor cancels we reschedule or refund that session. Once paid, a package is final: sessions not yet held can be rescheduled rather than refunded. Full details are in our Purchase Policy.
Industry Experts are carefully selected based on depth of experience, domain credibility, and professional standing. Many join through referrals from existing experts or direct outreach by Certyco. Every new Industry Expert completes an introduction call to validate expertise and establish appropriate evaluation brackets. Corporate email verification is required during account setup.
Selection is based on a combination of professional background, relevant domain expertise, and alignment with the roles Certyco supports. Certyco prioritizes quality and credibility to maintain the integrity of its expert network, so places are offered selectively.
Once you accept an evaluation, you are expected to honor the scheduled session, arrive prepared, and conduct a thorough, structured assessment using Certyco’s evaluation framework. Your evaluation directly influences a Professional’s verified outcome, and reliability is essential to maintaining the trust the network depends on.
There are no fixed quotas. However, Industry Experts are expected to participate with reasonable consistency. Consistent, reliable participation strengthens your standing in the network and ensures Certyco can match Professionals with qualified evaluators when needed.
Industry Experts are paid per completed evaluation. Payment is processed once the full assessment, including ratings and written feedback, is submitted and accepted through Certyco’s quality review. Compensation reflects the standard expected of each evaluation.
Yes. You control your availability and may decline evaluation requests. However, once an evaluation is accepted, Certyco expects you to follow through. If you need to cancel an accepted evaluation, notify Certyco as early as possible so the Professional can be reassigned without delay.
Contact Certyco as soon as possible. Timely communication allows the Professional to be reassigned to another qualified expert. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your standing in the network and future evaluation assignments.
Never. Your evaluation is independent. There are no quotas, no pressure from employers, and no incentives tied to outcomes. Certyco is not pass/fail and does not optimize for any score distribution. Your credibility as an evaluator depends on honest, evidence-based assessments.
Yes. Certyco invites Industry Experts to Mentor Match by fit with a Professional’s role, platform and industry. Mentoring sessions are one on one, about an hour each, held on Zoom at times you agree with the Professional, and paid per session. Mentoring a Professional and evaluating the same person are kept separate.
No. Industry Experts cannot evaluate Professionals with whom they have a personal or professional relationship. You may also decline evaluations involving current or recent employers or organizations where a conflict of interest may exist.

Yes. Once a profile is unlocked, you can reach out directly. There are no intermediaries, no recruiter fees, and no third-party coordination. The Professional has already been independently evaluated, so your first conversation can focus on fit rather than screening.

Recruitment agencies typically charge a percentage of annual salary as a success fee. Certyco charges per connection, only when a Professional confirms interest in your role, and that fee is a small fraction of what an agency placement costs. Browsing verified scores and expert feedback is free.
Evaluation on Demand (Certyco EOD) is for employers with an open role and a shortlist. You send us the people you are considering, and each of them sits the same 90-minute evaluation professionals book for themselves, one to one with an Industry Expert who does that work today and is matched to the role, domain and platform you are hiring for. For every person you receive a 4D Scorecard, a written assessment and the full recording, reviewed by Certyco first. You send the people. We evaluate them. You decide.
The pool is made of professionals with an approved result that qualifies for search and "Available for work" switched on, whether they booked the evaluation themselves or an employer sent them. Evaluation on Demand starts with your own shortlist: you name the people, we evaluate them, and the result comes to you. Same evaluation, same scorecard, same Industry Experts. The difference is who chooses the people and who pays.
Yes. Each person creates a free Certyco account, which is where they schedule the session, give recording consent and later see their own result. They pay nothing. The employer pays for the evaluation.
Yes. Every person you send sees their own scorecard, written assessment and recording in their account, and they keep it. Before the session we tell them in writing, in the Evaluation on Demand notice in our Terms, that you are the one receiving the report.
Never. Everyone is scored on the same scale, skill by skill, with the reason behind every score, so you can compare evidence. Certyco does not rank, shortlist or recommend one person over another. That decision is yours.
The full result goes to you and to the person evaluated, and to nobody else. Like every evaluated professional, they may appear anonymously in Hiring Partner search while their own availability switch is on; that switch is theirs. Your copy stays available to you; it does not expire. The person may use their own result, and any Certyco Mark they earn, wherever they go next.
We reply with scope and price within 2 business days of your request. Each session is booked within 3 business days, and the reviewed result is in your inbox by the next business day after the session. About a week end to end for a small group, depending on when the people you send can sit their sessions.
It is priced per person and quoted when you reach out. Tell us the role and how many people, and we reply with scope and price within 2 business days. There is no card checkout.
By invoice. Scope, price and terms are agreed by email under a short service agreement, and Certyco invoices you. If we cannot match a person with an Industry Expert within 3 business days, you are not charged for that person. Rescheduling follows that agreement.
You only pay when a Professional confirms interest in discussing your role. Browsing verified evaluation scores, filtering by capability, and reviewing expert feedback are all available before any cost is incurred. You are never charged for viewing evaluation signal.
Certyco provides filters across verified scores in all four evaluation dimensions, overall score, Certyco Mark tier, role, and more. Unlike keyword-based searches on job boards, every filter is backed by verified evaluation data from independent Industry Experts, not self-reported claims.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Personal information is hidden by default. Only anonymized evaluation data is shown to Hiring Partners until a profile is unlocked. You can request data removal at any time by emailing privacy@certyco.com.
Hiring Partners can see your personal and contact details only after unlocking your profile. Industry Experts do not see unnecessary personal identifiers before evaluations.
Yes. Hiring Partners see only your anonymized scores and feedback, and only while "Available for work" is on. Your name, photo and contact details are revealed only after a Hiring Partner unlocks your profile. Turn the toggle off at any time to remove yourself from Hiring Partner searches entirely.
The employer that arranged it, and you. When an employer sends you through Evaluation on Demand, we tell you in writing before the session, in the Evaluation on Demand notice in our Terms, that they receive your scorecard, written assessment and recording. Nobody else receives the full result. Other employers can see at most what they see for anyone in the pool: an anonymized scorecard in search while your "Available for work" switch is on, which you can turn off at any time. You keep your result and any Certyco Mark you earn, and you may use them anywhere.
Yes, but only with your consent given at scheduling. Recording ensures fairness and auditability.
Recordings are shared with Hiring Partners only with additional, explicit consent from the Professional. Hiring Partners can review your full verified evaluation without accessing recordings.
Industry Expert identity details are shared with the Professional only on the day of the evaluation. This preserves neutrality and prevents bias before the evaluation begins.

Yes. To request account deletion, email privacy@certyco.com. Certyco will process your request and remove your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Certyco uses Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-focused, first-party, and does not use cookies or cross-site tracking. Essential platform cookies may be used for authentication and session management.
Certyco uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, OAuth providers (Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft) for social login, Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Zoom for evaluations and mentoring sessions, and the Anthropic Claude API for AI Resume Import parsing. Stripe processes evaluation purchases and Hiring Partner connections. Mentor Match is paid by card payment link, e-transfer or invoice.
